Jesse Silvertown CPA, CA, CFF
Jesse Silvertown is the Principal at Hesperus, the practice he founded after 15 years in various senior finance roles. Most recently, he was the first CFO at BetterBrand, a venture-backed consumer company, and an executive at Ernst & Young, where he founded the Sports sector and chaired the Media, Entertainment, Private Equity and Tech sectors for his practice. His work includes diligence on 75+ deals (totaling ~$10b+), and he is recognized as a leading forensic accountant in M&A. He has written for, or had his work quoted in, Sports Business Journal, Forbes, Washington Post, Law 360, Sports Illustrated, Bloomberg and many more outlets.
Jesse currently lives in New York City, but is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. He is a proud graduate with distinction from Ivey, the top-ranked Canadian business school, and has obtained his CA, CPA (Canada) and CFF (USA) designations.
